House Hunting

We have had many guests stay with us that have been house hunting, and we are experienced in many aspects of finding properties and moving to France. We can offer a house hunting service to those who require it.

Holidays

Set in around two acres "La Charouffie" has its own pool for all our guests. We are ideally located in a quiet spot on the edge of the town of Riberac and benefits from unspoiled views across their grounds and surrounding countryside. Riberac town center is only a short stroll away and visitors can easily walk to its numerous shops, bars, restaurants and sporting facilities. They can also enjoy the largest market in the Dordogne every Friday.

During the summer, markets are also held on Sundays and Tuesdays giving everyone the chance to buy and sample a wide range of traditional French goods and produce. Riberac is well located for visits to historic towns such as Brantome and Perigueux, and the sites associated with prehistory such as the world famous Lascaux caves. The town is not too far away for a trip to the coast for those who might fancy some sea air and sandy beaches, but about 15 minutes away the Lake at La Jemaye has a sandy beach, play areas and restaurants which guests with young families love. The area is a must for wine lovers being located between the major vineyards of Bordeaux, Bergerac and Cognac which are all within easy reach. Whatever your age and interests, La Charouffie in Riberac offers an ideal base for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

As we have the Farmhouse which sleeps up to 10 people, and the Cottage, which can sleep up to 6 La Charouffie is the perfect venue for Special Family Get Together's or Friends Reunions. We look forward to you enjoying your stay here.
